Reporting to a senior legal professional, you will work on a wide variety of agreements to procure goods and services. You should ideally have a working knowledge of procurement legislation and strong commercial contract law experience.


  • Supporting the legal team and the business in providing in-house legal advice for all supply chain contract and procurement matters, including construction contracts.
  • Drafting, negotiating, reviewing and updating various tender documents, standard forms and bespoke contracts.
  • Managing and supporting third-party specialists, including external lawyers, to deliver required business outcomes.
  • Identifying areas of potential legal risk, developing reporting structures in relation to those risks and conducting reviews where required.
  • Promoting legal awareness and communicating to the business when legal input should be sought.
  • Delivering in-house training on areas of interest to the wider business.
  • Monitoring relevant construction, contracts law and procurement legislative changes and case-law affecting the conduct of the company's business.
  • Ensuring that continuing professional development is maintained and that professional knowledge remains current, by participating in appropriate training / courses / seminars.
  • Attendance at various internal committees related to contract approvals.
