The Atlas Clusters Automation team builds software that manages the MongoDB database hosted on cloud provider infrastructure. The team focuses on building an agent that runs on and manages processes running on every virtual machine in our fleet of clusters. We design features that ensure clusters are secure, available, durable and performant while running large scale, critical workloads.

Job Summary

We seek a Lead Engineer to join the Atlas Clusters Automation Team. The successful candidate will lead a team of motivated individual contributors who are eager to learn and grow. They will contribute to the code, design and architecture of systems developed by their team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of professional software development experience and 3 years of people management experience. They should have led engineering teams that have built and maintained large scale systems. Experience with Go and major cloud provider technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
