Cloud Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cloud operations group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based services.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure, including automation tools, monitoring systems, and security protocols. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, optimize system performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in cloud computing, experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, and a solid understanding of monitoring systems like Prometheus and Grafana. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby is also essential.

In addition to your technical expertise, you must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear and concise explanations of complex technical concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure, including automation tools and security protocols

  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, identifying and resolving technical issues

  • Optimize system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical solutions and improve overall efficiency

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud operations or related field

  • Strong background in cloud computing and automation tools

  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby

  • Familiarity with monitoring systems like Prometheus and Grafana

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
