Cloud Operations Specialist

This is a pivotal role within our team, focusing on delivering high-availability AWS services. The successful candidate will oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud and work closely with global teams to influence service evolution.

Responsibilities include collaborating with technology leaders, contributing to operational enhancements, and ensuring improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency. On-call rotations may be required for out-of-hours incident resolution.

The goal is to deliver scalable services and ensure a seamless experience for EU customers.

  • A strong background in software development or related field, preferably with expertise in one modern programming language such as Java, Typescript, Python, or Ruby.
  • Proficiency in Linux, command line, and basic administration, as well as computer networking fundamentals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot at various levels, from network to operating systems to software applications.
  • Experience supporting cloud systems or other services.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record of software development experience with proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
  • Familiarity with Linux and basic administration principles.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across multiple levels.
  • Cloud system support experience.
