Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Sports Medicine Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal injuries, as well as expertise in rehabilitation planning. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with orthopaedic consultants, neurosurgeons, rheumatologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care to patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in sports medicine, with experience working with athletes and active individuals. They will also be skilled in interpreting diagnostic imaging and performance data, with a strong understanding of return-to-play decision-making and athlete welfare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and non-operative management of musculoskeletal and sport-related injuries
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans rooted in evidence-based medicine
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Utilise advanced diagnostic tools, including 3D movement analysis and strength measurement
  • Advise on injury prevention, health screening, and return-to-play protocols
Requirements
  • Full registration with the relevant medical council
  • Specialist registration in Sports and Exercise Medicine
  • Demonstrated experience working with athletes and active individuals
  • Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
