Job Title: NOC Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Network Operations Centre in Ireland as a full-time NOC Technician.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting incoming and outgoing alerts, proactively overseeing our network infrastructure and systems, and serving as a live point-of-contact for operational issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring ongoing operations, networks, and IT service infrastructure performance.
  • Interpreting monitor alert messages and performing required actions.
  • Providing technical support for all Enterprise systems.
  • Desktop patching (Implement/Verify – both Windows and Mac).
  • Understanding and implementing escalation, incident management, and change management processes and procedures of the NOC.
  • Aiding team members, System Administrators, customers, and merchants by applying technical knowledge of operations and systems.
  • Reviewing and responding to security system alerts and escalating when appropriate.
  • Providing helpdesk support for internal employees.
  • Some light customer service duties.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Leaving Certificate required.
  • Third Level qualification preferred in a technical discipline.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, switching, and routing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and research skills.
  • Windows and MAC experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Zendesk considered advantageous.
  • Strong orientation toward assisting others.
