We're seeking an ambitious Graduate Geotechnical Professional to join our team in Belfast. As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer and Engineering Geologist, you will work on various projects involving desk studies, site inspections, rockface surveys, and geomorphological mapping.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, planning, and procurement of ground investigations, supervise fieldwork, and analyze geotechnical data. You'll also prepare interpretative reports, ground models, and designs for foundations, retaining walls, soil slope stability, earthworks, and rock slope stabilization.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology/Geology with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above. An MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering, or Engineering Geology would be beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Auto CAD/Civil 3D software is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design, planning, and procurement of ground investigations
  • Supervise ground investigation fieldwork
  • Prepare geological interpretations and reports
  • Analyze geotechnical data and develop ground models, designs, and reports for various infrastructure projects
