About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our team. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to children with intellectual disabilities. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to children with intellectual disabilities, including administering medication, performing medical procedures, and providing emotional support.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Work closely with families and caregivers to ensure seamless transitions and consistent care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience in a healthcare setting.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
