We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Chief Search Integrity Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating user trust risks in Search through automated and scalable solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. As a Chief Search Integrity Specialist, you will use your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to protect users and partners from abuse across Google products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discover and measure user trust risks in Search using automated and scalable solutions\
  • Build relationships with Search engineers to protect Google Search users\
  • Use investigative and technical skills to identify and prevent manipulative behavior\
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of spam guidelines\
  • Partner with engineering teams to enhance search ranking algorithms\
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve problems at scale\
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to mitigate user trust risks\
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the field\
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive results\

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • \
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience\
  • 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data\
  • 5 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables\
  • Experience working on product analysis and identifying user harm risks\
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail\
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills\
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment\
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python\
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models and prompt engineering\
  • Understanding of search ranking algorithms and spam guidelines\
  • Experience with vendor support and partnership building\
  • Passion for promoting trust and ensuring user safety\
