As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert therapy services to children with disabilities.

Job Requirements

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced therapist to join our team in Bray, Wicklow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You must be registered as a Speech and Language Therapist by the relevant regulatory body.
  • Three years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience are essential.
  • You should have the necessary knowledge and skills to discharge the duties of this role effectively.
  • Proof of statutory registration on the relevant professional register is required.
  • Eligibility to work in the State is mandatory.
  • A valid driving license and access to your own transport are also necessary.
  • Interdisciplinary team working experience is desirable.
  • A minimum of two years' experience working with children with disabilities is required.
  • Experience working with children with Eating, Drinking, and Swallowing difficulties is highly valued.
  • Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) experience is also beneficial.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team is critical.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills are required.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies is necessary.
  • Accurate record-keeping is essential.
