Quality Assurance and Risk Management Executive

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance and Risk Management Executive to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, mitigating risks, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain robust systems of care that minimize adverse events and enhance performance.
  • Oversee Occupational Health & Safety systems to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain and improve ISO45001 certifications and ensure compliance with all audits.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Manage the corporate risk register and ensure alignment with local service and regional levels.
  • Implement measures to minimize opportunities for errors and optimize processes.
  • Draft and provide policy guidance on key governance areas.
  • Manage online reporting tools for incidents, complaints, claims, and safeguarding management.
  • Conduct systematic monitoring of clinical, safety, and safeguarding incidents at various levels.
  • Report and coordinate serious incident reporting and management processes.
  • Implement and monitor progress against the Governance Framework.
  • Chair and participate in relevant committees as per Governance structures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Health and Social Care sector.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ability to organize and delegate work effectively.
  • Experience with information systems supporting service management.
  • Evidence of audit and research activities.
  • Ability to teach and develop staff members by fostering a culture of learning.
  • Proven ability to empathize with individuals.
