Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse to join our team in Women's Health. As an Enhanced Primary Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within a women's health clinic in a primary care setting.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide evidence-based nursing care to meet the diverse needs of women of all ages.
  • Deliver cervical screening and other essential services with a focus on reproductive health, menopause management, and sexual well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of coordinated care, promoting excellent clinical and customer-focused experiences.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and contributing to the development of new programs within Women's Health.


Requirements:
  • Registration on the General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Certificates of competence in Venepuncture, Infection Control, Basic Life Support, and Manual and Patient Handling.
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate clinical nursing experience within the past 5 years.
  • Experience in women's health services is desirable, as is experience in a primary care or community setting.


Preferred Skills:
  • Cervical screening training (or a willingness to undertake same).
  • Knowledge of menopause care, reproductive health, and sexual well-being.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strong interest in Women's Health Nursing.
