Cloud Infrastructure Architecture Specialist

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architecture Specialist to play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and securing our cloud environments' underlying infrastructure.
This key position will be instrumental in architecting scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure, ensuring seamless workload migration, and integrating new cloud environments into our ecosystem.
The successful candidate will possess expertise in infrastructure management, automation, networking, and general IT infrastructure, as well as in-depth knowledge of cloud computing and network technologies.
They will be able to provide clarity on complex situations, describe intricate problems to non-technical staff, and collaborate closely with a team to resolve complex issues.
- Automate the deployment of cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code tools and mindset.
- Support platform engineering partners and application development teams in troubleshooting, provisioning, and maintaining various enterprise infrastructure.
- Deploy, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure in Azure, AWS, and managed Colo.
- Configure and manage virtual networks and subnets, including IP addressing, routing, firewall rules, and load balancing.
- Maintain a network topology that provides for integration testing among development teams while remaining flexible enough to unify additional environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a drive to constantly expand their skills and knowledge.
