Job Description- The Technical Leadership Manager will provide strategic and technical leadership to a diverse team of Engineers, Technicians, and Project Managers focused on driving operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost at the Contact Lens site.
- This role requires advising and controlling activities of Automation & Controls, Manufacturing Engineering, Injection Molding, and Capital Project Management Office functions in developing and deploying technical solutions on highly automated production equipment and processes.
- Leading and supervising innovative change across all manufacturing assets through equipment upgrades, automation, robotics, IIOT, and other Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Crafting the strategic direction and conceptual roadmap for the Limerick launch and production site and Manufacturing Engineering network.
- Developing department long-range plans, annual budgets, and supervising budget performance.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required; an advanced degree in Engineering or an MBA is helpful.
- PMP or comparable Certification and familiarity with J&J Project Management approaches (FPX & Project Delivery Process) is helpful.
- Professional Engineering Registration is helpful.
