About the Company

TN Ireland is a dynamic organization that provides residential care services for vulnerable children and young people.

We are committed to delivering high-quality support services that meet the unique needs of each child and young person in our care.

Our staff members are trained in trauma-informed care practices, including the Sanctuary Model and Positive Behaviour Support.

Role Description:

This role involves working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our residential care services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing education support, participating in residential care activities, and maintaining accurate records.

The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of social care principles, and a commitment to providing high-quality support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Planning:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans (BSP), Individual Crisis Management Plans (ICMP), and Placement Plans in line with Care Plans for children and young people.
  • Care Provision:
  • Participate in residential care activities designed to meet assessed needs as outlined in the young person's Care and Placement Plans.
  • Provide care according to the BSP, Daily Plans, and ICMP developed for each young person.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant and related field that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
  • A full, clean manual driving license valid in Ireland.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of effective teamwork.
