Key Leadership Role: Director of Nursing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing leader to provide strategic guidance and support excellence in nursing practice.

  • Provide visionary leadership to the nursing team to enhance patient care and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based strategies to build capacity in nursing and midwifery.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical practice and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 7 years post-registration nursing experience and 3 years nursing management experience at a minimum of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM 2) in an acute setting.
  • Successfully completed a post-registration programme of study at National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 8 or higher award.
  • Demonstrated exceptional leadership, clinical, managerial and administrative skills.
