Senior Financial Accountant

We are seeking an experienced financial analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Prepare monthly financial reports with analysis of balance sheet and profit & loss
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements
- Liaise with external auditors for periodic and year-end review procedures for local statutory audits
- Liaise with tax specialists and advisors ensuring compliance with all external reporting requirements
- Assist with SOX compliance and reporting
- Prepare, analyze, and post journals at month end
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations at month end
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards
- Enhance existing processes and develop new ones to ensure efficient completion of duties
The ideal candidate will have a qualified accountant certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equiv) and strong technical accounting skills. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Key qualifications include:
- Qualified accountant certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equiv)
- Third-level degree or equivalent
- 0-5 years relevant experience, preferably in a shared service centre and multinational corporation environment
- SAP/Oracle or other major ERP systems experience is desirable
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Office
