Special Events Coordinator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic events professional to join our team at Luttrellstown Castle Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing memorable events that exceed our guests' expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain computerized systems for sales enquiries, bookings, and availability.
  • Maintain relationships with clients to coordinate event details and ensure accuracy of billing and information.
  • Meet with prospective clients to discuss show-arounds for weddings, private functions, and corporate events.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports outlining business performance.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Up-sell products and services throughout the event process to maximize revenue.
  • Manage customer feedback, including responding to guest problems and complaints.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum one year's experience in wedding or event planning.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Efficient multi-tasking and attention to detail abilities.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media channels.
  • Customer-service orientation and team player skills.
