Event Coordinator Position

We are currently seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to oversee the successful execution of events from conception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize computerized systems (Jonas & HubSpot) for responding and coordinating sales enquiries, bookings, and availability.
  • Meet with prospective clients for show-arounds for weddings, private, and corporate functions.
  • Ensure prompt and professional responses and follow-ups to sales enquiries.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports outlining business performance for the current and following years.
  • Generate quotations for prospective bookings and timely follow-ups.
  • Liaise with clients regarding event coordination, ensuring accuracy of billing and information, maintaining up-to-date profiles, and recording client feedback post-event.
  • Monitor, coordinate, and communicate event bookings, ensuring accurate invoicing and information maintenance.
  • Upsell products and services throughout the event process to maximize revenue.
  • Meet and greet clients during the event phase, ensuring smooth handovers to the operations team for execution.
  • Manage customer feedback, addressing guest problems and complaints related to weddings and events.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of wedding or event experience required.
  • Must be an efficient multitasker, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in all social media channels.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Customer-service orientation.
  • A team player.

General requirements include performing duties diligently and professionally with a friendly outgoing attitude. Excellent grooming standards are expected.
