The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and supporting the growth and development of our products through merchandising, maximisation of in-store space, generating product awareness, new product launches, implementing promotions, and identifying new leads and channels.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and revenue growth through effective sales strategies and tactics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and distributors.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Manage and execute merchandising plans to maximise in-store visibility and sales.
- Implement and monitor promotional campaigns to drive product awareness and sales.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing and sales initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven sales and merchandising experience within FMCG, preferably in the food industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong presentation and influencing abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail point of sale software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Flexibility with regard to working hours and national travel is a requirement.
