Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our production team as a Shift Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role within the team, responsible for leading and managing a group of operators to achieve targets and maintain high standards of product quality, integrity, and hygiene.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive improvements in product quality and process efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to achieve targets/KPIs
  • Set weekly targets and objectives for the shift team
  • Maintain excellent standards of Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Housekeeping Practice
  • Monitor and control costs
  • Ensure safe working practices of the team, contractors, and visitors
  • Ensure all work areas and equipment are regularly and properly maintained
  • Maximise employee contribution and drive improvements in product quality and process efficiencies

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a management/supervisory role in manufacturing
  • Third-level qualification in a related field (desirable)
  • Understanding of Microsoft Suite required
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
