Construction Technology Manager

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Construction Technology Manager to lead the implementation and management of digital tools for information capture, sharing, and use in project/contract delivery. This role is responsible for delivering project or contract information management services and deploying technology solutions strategically.

• Manage the pipeline and workload to deliver services that meet customer needs, collaborating with Digital Engineering & Production, and Support teams to agree on resource allocation and service delivery for projects/contracts.
• Evaluate client and business requirements, developing plans, specifications, reviews, and controls accordingly.
• Comply with relevant industry standards, codes of practice, company procedures, and legal requirements.
• Maintain high safety, environmental, and quality standards and report any non-compliance.

Leadership and Communication

• Communicate risk, opportunity, change, and commercial impact to the project/contract team, documenting it according to our procedures.
• Support training and information management for the project/contract team and stakeholders, including the Common Data Environment (CDE).

Information Management

• Coordinate the delivery of Project and/or Asset Information Model(s) as per Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) and ISO 19650 protocol.
• Support the development of Appointing Party's ISO 19650 protocol and related deliverables where we are the Appointing Party.
• Establish systems for securely managing, sharing, and storing information throughout the project lifecycle, including archiving and disposal.
• Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal and commercial teams to incorporate Information Requirements into agreements and contracts.
• Develop and maintain the project/contract ISO 19650 protocol and related deliverables to achieve project goals and EIRs.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills in a team environment.
• Effective time management, efficiency maximization, and ability to meet challenging goals.
• Experience in digital construction/facilities management and document management.
• Background in design and construction industries and tendering processes.
• Contributions to prequalification and tender submissions.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 19650 series.
• Higher education in Construction or related fields.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience on construction projects/FM contracts with digital solutions experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 4D programmes for understanding construction sequences and supporting risk reduction.
• Knowledge of 5D Forecasting, linking programme, model, and cost.
• Data validation techniques for construction information.
• Development of BEP templates to meet project requirements.
• Mapping information flow in inputs, processes, and outputs.
• Interface skills between digital software and technology.
• Proficiency in quality documentation management, e.g., BEP and MIDP.
• Experience in managing federated 3D models for project and role requirements.
