Project Leader

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of product development, structured project management methodologies and will be able to use an established framework to guide product development activities.

About the Role

This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of multiple product development projects, managing schedules, risks, budgets and cross-disciplinary teams to deliver on-time and within scope.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional project teams across engineering, quality, manufacturing and supply chain disciplines.
  • Apply structured project management practices including planning, scheduling, risk management, issue tracking, resource allocation and budget control.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements

The following qualifications and experience are required:

  • A minimum 5 years' experience in a project management role, ideally in electronics product development.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is desirable.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional product development projects using structured methodologies.
  • Familiarity with electronic hardware design and development, embedded firmware and software, mechanical product design, cloud communication protocols and IoT data platforms.
