Utilities System Specialist

About the Role:

The Utilities System Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of critical utility systems. This includes working closely with the Critical Utilities Operations team to maximize equipment performance, developing and implementing maintenance plans, and driving Reliability Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimizing Plant Operations: Develop and implement optimized plant operation and maintenance plans to ensure safe and reliable operations.
  • Vendor Management: Review vendor documents and reports, and manage the effective close out of Work Orders on site CMMS.
  • Utility System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot Utility system issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Service Delivery: Oversee service delivery and maintain relationships with Service Providers in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operating systems are in compliance with Regulatory and Legal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelors or Master's Degree in a relevant Science/Engineering discipline with extensive experience providing technical expertise.
  • Experience: Experience in Operating and Maintaining Utility systems in biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities is advantageous.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Utility system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Skills: Broad knowledge of Process Design, Good Manufacturing Practices, Maintenance systems, and industry regulations related to pharmaceutical product manufacture.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work in a fast-moving environment, meet deadlines, and delegate tasks effectively.
