Design Lead for Complex Embedded Medical Devices

Our R&D team requires an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join their effort in creating innovative user experiences for hardware-based medical devices.

This is a mid-senior level, full-time position within the Information Technology department of our organization, focusing on software development and medical practices.

You will be responsible for leading UI design for complex embedded medical device interfaces, applying user-centered design principles and usability best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior designers, and delivering UI specifications using Axure and Figma.

  • 7+ years in Interaction/UI/UX Design, ideally in medical devices or regulated industries.
  • Experience with hardware and embedded products as well as digital platforms.
  • Expertise in Axure and Figma, with a strong portfolio of complex interface work.
  • Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate closely with developers.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
