Hardware Store Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to assist with delivering exceptional service in a busy hardware store environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sales, possess strong interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Expert Advice: Assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Manage Customer Queries: Efficiently and professionally manage customer queries, resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain Store Presentation: Ensure high standards of store appearance and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
- Process Transactions: Accurately and securely process point-of-sale transactions.
- Participate in Stock Management: Assist with stock-taking and inventory management, ensuring accurate records are kept.
- Previous Sales Experience: Previous experience in DIY or hardware sales is essential.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Teamwork and Flexibility: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility across various departments.
Additional benefits include commission pay, performance bonuses, employee discounts, and a day shift schedule. The role requires reliability and the ability to commute to Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.
