Job Role

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our Residential and Respite services in Wicklow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to children and young adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.

About St. Catherine's Association

St. Catherine's Association is a non-profit organisation and registered charity that has been providing health-related supports to children and young adults in the Wicklow area for many years. Our mission is to provide person-centred care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage our Residential and Respite services in Wicklow.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and effectiveness of our services.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our organisational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
Requirements
  • QQI Level 7 BA in Applied Social Studies, Social Care, or equivalent, or RNID, RGN, or RCN qualification along with NMBI registration.
  • A management qualification in Health/Social Care or be in the process of obtaining this qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years Supervisory or Management experience.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
  • An ability to make sound judgments and decisions based on current legislation, best practice, and individual circumstances.
