Role Overview:

This is a senior-level position within our pharmacy operations, responsible for leading and guiding the dispensary team in delivering high-quality patient care and customer service.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of pharmacy regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of quality and safety within the pharmacy, acting as a role model for the safe supply of medicines.">
  • Uphold the reputation of the profession by acting with honesty, probity, and integrity, ensuring patients can trust you to act in their best interests.">
  • Work continuously to promote a culture of respect, trust, and person-centred care, ensuring patients receive exceptional attention and support.">
  • Drive regulatory compliance and ensure all PSI and PCRS regulatory standards are adhered to.">
  • Adhere to and implement all company standard operating procedures, prioritizing the delivery of high-quality services.">
  • Be accountable for all Health and Safety procedures in the dispensary, ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues and patients.">
  • Demonstrate good commercial awareness and drive this through areas such as claim accuracy and dispensary stock control.">
  • Set objectives, motivate, monitor performance, coach, and mentor the team, promoting continuous improvement and development.">
  • Lead by example and help maintain the delivery of high-quality and compassionate healthcare, driving excellence throughout the organization.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland with at least 3 years post-registration experience.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships with other healthcare professionals.">
  • Ability to lead a team, empower them to work to the best of their abilities, and prioritize tasks effectively.">
  • Highly organized with the ability to work under pressurized circumstances, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.">
  • Customer-focused with a positive can-do attitude, willing to learn and support the Supervising Pharmacist in delivering services.">
