Join a dynamic and rapidly evolving communications consultancy as a consultant (account manager equivalent) to support the growth of the expanding team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop a career in public affairs and communications, working alongside an award-winning international network of clients across various sectors, including healthcare, technology, financial services, energy, and mobility.

As a consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality communications and public affairs services to valued clients. This includes monitoring political, policy, and media developments to identify opportunities and risks for clients, drafting policy briefings, parliamentary questions, and other communications outputs, and building and maintaining strong relationships with policymakers, stakeholders, and journalists relevant to client priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver insightful advice to clients across sectors, focusing on public affairs and policy
  • Monitor industry movements and trends, staying abreast of the latest political and policy developments
  • Draft communications outputs to the highest standard, ensuring accuracy, creativity, and alignment with client objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencers

Requirements for this role include:

  • Experience in public affairs, communications, or policy, ideally within a consultancy or government environment
  • Strong understanding of the Irish political and policy landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling content
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in politics, communications, and the relationship between business and PR. They will be proactive, creative, and able to think outside the box, with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
