The company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnics or civil engineering and experience working on various projects such as windfarms, railways, and water infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with management teams to discuss project requirements and objectives.
- Investigate sites to identify potential obstacles and make recommendations to clients.
- Review site designs and specifications to ensure they meet client needs.
- Conduct testing and research on soil and ground conditions.
- Discover and report on potential health and safety risks on site.
- Complete reports and attend meetings with clients.
Requirements:
- Geotechnical or civil engineer degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Highly organized and motivated individual.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work off own initiative.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Package.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full driving license.
