Imagine leading a team to deliver a complex project or programme of work. As a Project Director at WSP, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a significant rail project or programme, ensuring it is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

You will be accountable for managing multiple stakeholders, including Clients, internal teams, and external partners. Your role will involve implementing effective governance frameworks, controls, and reporting mechanisms to ensure seamless project management.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who can demonstrate strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen. You will be able to motivate and develop high-performing teams, drive innovation, and foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • A degree in a relevant engineering or management discipline, such as project or construction management, engineering, science, or building.
  • Chartered membership of a relevant professional body, or nearing completion of this status.
  • APM / MSP / PMI / PRINCE2 / Six Sigma certifications are considered beneficial.
  • Experience in project/programme management, including technical and project management, and project controls.
  • Experience working in a senior management role, with demonstrated Client-side project/programme delivery in a commercial environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
