Construction Manager Job Opportunity

This position is a key hire for a leading Irish construction company, focusing on delivering high-quality residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial projects across Ireland.

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee project delivery across multiple sites, manage site teams, budgets, timelines, health & safety, client relationships, and overall project performance.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and proactive leader with a proven ability to manage large-scale projects from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring programme, budget, safety, and quality targets are met.
  • Provide strong leadership to project teams, including Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication and professional relationships.
  • Develop and monitor project programmes, resource plans, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Drive project planning, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure all work complies with statutory regulations, industry best practices, and company procedures.
  • Support commercial teams with contract administration, variations, and dispute resolution as needed.
  • Champion a culture of health & safety across all sites.
  • Contribute to pre-construction planning, tenders, and procurement strategies.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years' experience in project delivery roles, with at least 3–5 years at Construction Manager level.
  • Proven experience delivering residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects in Ireland.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and BCAR compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
