Job Title: Asset Inspection Specialist Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver an annual inspection program for Response Maintenance and Planned Scheme contracts, along with ad-hoc health-check reviews of Asset Management processes throughout Northern Ireland.
  • Provide assurance to clients that delivery of schemes and response maintenance works are managed in accordance with contract conditions and Company policy and procedures.
  • Organise samples for inspections and undertake preliminary meetings with management teams to prepare for technical inspections.
  • Carry out on-site inspections of completed works and desk-top assessments of associated paperwork, following an agreed methodology.
Inspection Findings:

Present inspection findings in a comprehensive report, accurately reflecting the site's assessment, initially for discussion with operational staff and then in a form for presentation to senior management and committees.

Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level 6 qualification in Architecture/Building Surveying or a relevant Building related discipline, plus at least two years' experience in a Building/Construction environment.
  • Or, possess a BTEC Higher Certificate/Diploma or equivalent in a relevant Building related discipline, plus at least three years' experience in a Building/Construction environment.
  • Alternatively, demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development or experiential learning and at least five years' experience in a Building/Construction environment.

Candidates must have a current driving license or access to a form of transport to meet the post's requirements.
