A Site Engineer position is available in a reputable construction company. The company works on leading projects across residential and commercial sectors in the Dublin region.
The role involves ensuring that construction activities are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Set out, level, and survey the site using appropriate instruments and tools.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide construction activities.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to coordinate site activities.
- Conduct quality control checks and maintain accurate site records and documentation.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and implementing practical solutions on site.
- Support the project manager in planning and resource allocation.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a site engineering role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in surveying equipment and software (e.g., Total Station, AutoCAD).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
