We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Site Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in construction and project management.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects across the country, working closely with contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely completion. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising on-site activities, ensuring that works are constructed as required, and organizing adequate supervision of construction works. You will also be responsible for reporting to the Employer's Representative, coordinating contract interfaces, assessing contractor claims, and evaluating payment applications against work completed.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Supervision: Responsible for the on-site supervision of the construction stage and ensuring contractor carries out works in accordance with design.
- Work Quality: Ensure works are constructed as required and organize adequate supervision of construction works on-site.
- Reporting: Reporting to Employer's Representative.
- Contract Coordination: Coordinating Contract interfaces with respect to the works.
- Claim Assessment: Assessment of Contractor claims and writing reports on same.
- Payment Evaluation: Assessment of Contractor payment applications against work completed.
- Submission Review: Assessment of Contractor submissions including method statements and preparation of clear comments.
- Worksite Management: Supervision of the works, keeping records, measuring, managing correspondence, and contractual documentation.
- Reporting Requirements: Record detailed reports of all works and any significant happenings on-site, including photographic records where necessary.
- Mishap Documentation: Ensure all work recorded is approved prior to execution and document any mishaps such as delays, industrial disputes etc.
- Site Meetings: Attend regular site meetings and ensure other site supervisory staff are alerted to any matter which may affect their work.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with administration of contract in accordance with Safety, health and welfare at work legislation.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification in Engineering. You should also have satisfactory knowledge of civil engineering works, building construction, and project management, as well as at least 3 years' experience working as Site Manager or Resident Engineer with proven ability to deliver results.

- Project Management: Direct experience in project management and good knowledge of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent Communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Motivation: Highly motivated and self-driven.
- Technical Knowledge: Keen interest in development process and developing skillsets like: project and development management skillset; contractual, commercial and financial aspects of development projects; building & managing stakeholder relationships.
- Driving License: Full clean driving license as some site travel will be required.
