Job Title

A highly skilled project coordinator is required to oversee the entire lifecycle of data centre construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide project teams to achieve exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex construction projects from inception to completion.

The role involves coordinating all aspects of project delivery, including scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance and risk management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and project team members.

The postholder will be based in Dublin and will be required to travel frequently to project sites in Sweden and other locations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of data centre construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets and quality standards.
  • Coordinate issues on-site, working closely with subcontractors, vendors and client representatives to resolve any challenges that arise.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address concerns and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks and mitigation strategies to senior management and clients as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • At least 2 years of experience specifically in data centre construction or related industries.
  • Background in trades or a relevant degree/qualification in construction management, engineering or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage project teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel and spend extended periods on-site, with a rotational presence in Sweden for 3-week intervals during the initial and final phases of projects.
