Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovation Leadership: Develop comprehensive R&D plans aligned with the company's vision, incorporating sustainable practices and ensuring team readiness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team to synchronize R&D initiatives with business strategy and guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including academic institutions, research organizations, and technology providers.

Project Management:

  • Digital Platform Utilization: Leverage digital platforms for project management, capacity planning, tracking progress, expenditure capture, sustainability metric monitoring, and streamlined reporting.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on R&D activities, maintaining thorough documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
  • KPI Development: Create performance metrics to measure project success, including project completion rates, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Advanced Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science); advanced degrees preferred.
  • R&D Expertise: 3+ years of experience in R&D, with relevant management experience.
  • Professional Certifications: Project management and R&D management certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.
  • Research Proficiency: Skilled in research methodologies, product development, and sustainability-driven innovation.
  • Leadership Qualities: Proven leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills, inspiring professional teams.
  • Project Organization: Adept at organizing and managing multiple projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
