Senior UX Researcher Job Overview

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Researcher to lead our research strategy and guide the entire research process from initial strategy to final analysis.
  • The ideal candidate will execute large-scale, complex projects using diverse methodologies, advocate for customers by translating their needs into actionable insights that inform our roadmap, and monitor market trends and competitors to ensure we stay ahead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy to inform product development and drive business growth.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to integrate research insights throughout the product lifecycle, leveraging expertise in user-centered design and agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key research opportunities and develop effective research plans to address them.
  • Conduct user research, analyze data, and present findings to inform product decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Partner with design and product teams to translate research insights into actionable design recommendations that drive business results.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recent experience in user research, preferably in product development.
  • Proven track record of leading complex research projects using diverse methodologies (usability testing, task analysis, etc.).
  • Experience influencing business strategy with executive-level stakeholders and driving collaboration across teams.
  • Basic understanding of front-end UI development to facilitate informed conversations about technical feasibility.
  • Agile mindset and experience working in an Agile environment using issue tracking tools to manage work.
