Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team. This role will involve leading technical strategy and architecture for our design component library, championing best-in-class accessibility, performance, and internationalisation across frontend surfaces, and evolving the library to meet the needs of AI-assisted development.

About this Role
  • Lead technical strategy and architecture for our design component library and underlying systems
  • Champion best-in-class accessibility, performance, and internationalisation across frontend surfaces
  • Evolving the library to meet the needs of AI-assisted development, enabling safe and scalable component generation and usage
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience building and scaling web applications, with deep expertise in modern frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, CSS-in-JS, etc.)
  • Demonstrated leadership in building or maintaining component libraries or design systems
  • Possession of passion for frontend fundamentals – accessibility, animation, responsive design, and cross-browser behaviour
  • Strong systems thinking – able to anticipate scaling challenges, encourage reusability, and design for change
  • Enthusiasm for the future of development – curiosity about AI-assisted coding, tooling, and emerging patterns
