Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Overview: Merchants Quay Ireland seeks a skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in the Midlands region. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our rehabilitation and aftercare services, working closely with clients, statutory agencies, and community partners.

About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will provide a range of reintegration and aftercare supports, including education, information, advocacy, and treatment support to clients and their families. You will also develop and facilitate group sessions, conduct comprehensive assessments, and create individualized care plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate records and compliance with funding agency requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide reintegration and aftercare supports to clients, focusing on substance abuse recovery and relapse prevention.
• Develop and deliver group sessions, workshops, and one-to-one interventions, tailored to client needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, identify client strengths, and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with statutory agencies, community partners, and family members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and statistics, ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements.
• Participate in audits, evaluations, and quality assurance initiatives to continuously improve service standards.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant 3rd-level qualification (Level 7 or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years' experience in addiction, community development, health & social care, aftercare, and rehabilitation. Your skills should include case management, group facilitation, and key working. A full clean driver's license is essential for this position.
