Maintenance Operative Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to join our team as a skilled maintenance operative. As a key member of the facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining full knowledge of building fabric, maintenance tools, and equipment.

You will perform minor repairs as directed by the FM Manager after receiving proper training. Daily and weekly checks will also be part of your responsibilities, with any faults, safety hazards, or maintenance issues promptly reported.

Ensuring all areas and storage are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with security regulations is essential in this role. You will use and maintain tools, equipment, and safety signage correctly, manage material usage efficiently, and report low stock levels for reordering.

Responding promptly to helpdesk calls and providing cover during absences is crucial in this position. Compliance with all company and client policies, including health & safety and site regulations, is mandatory.

A qualification in a recognised trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing) is advantageous but not necessary. Adhering to all company and statutory health, safety, and hygiene regulations is vital.

Delivering consistent service meeting contract standards and performance targets is essential in this role. You may be required to respond to emergency calls outside working hours.

Working collaboratively as part of the on-site team is a core aspect of this job. Sodexo reserves the right to close this advert early if we are in receipt of a high number of applications.
