Planning and Coordination Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Planner to join our operations and work on our site in Cork. The Quality Planner reports to the Quality Department and has end-to-end oversight of the production, testing and release plans for the site.

Job Responsibilities:
  • The Quality Planner attends daily site Value Stream Boards and weekly planning meetings
  • The candidate coordinates inspection lot end dates and lead times on SAP with various business units in the supply chain
  • The Quality Planner works closely with Production and Supply Chain functions ensuring fast response to unforeseen changes or requests
  • The candidate liaises with Production, Quality and Supply Chain departments to adjust inspection lot ends dates accurately and appropriately when lots are received on site, and when issues arise during production, testing or release
  • The Quality Planner monitors issues and delays against lots throughout the supply chain, performs impact assessments against the site Plan and adjusts accordingly
  • The candidate communicates planning changes and impact between Supply Chain and Operations functions
  • The Quality Planner tracks progress of lots, manages KPI reporting and analysis
  • The candidate refines current business process for management of inspection lot end dates on SAP
  • The Quality Planner demonstrates strong communication skills and active participation in key business process meetings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Supply Chain experience and familiarity with scheduling
  • Organisation skills/Project Management
  • SAP experience is desirable
