Maintenance Engineer Job

Our organization is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its team in Dublin. This individual will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the maintenance strategy and providing maintenance support to the production team.

About the Position

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on a wide range of equipment and processes, identifying and carrying out preventative maintenance outside formal maintenance programs. They will also be fully responsible for technical support requirements for production lines and their supporting processes, utilizing knowledge and available materials to minimize production downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mechanical repairs: Perform repairs to various types of equipment and processes.
  • Preventative maintenance: Identify and execute preventative maintenance activities outside scheduled programs.
  • Tech support: Provide technical assistance to production teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Possess strong mechanical skills or fitter skills, with a solid understanding of mechanical aptitude.
  • Schematic drawing skills: Be able to read and interpret mechanical schematic drawings.
  • Electrical troubleshooting: Have experience using multimeters and troubleshooting electrical faults.
  • Automation familiarity: Be comfortable working in an automated environment and possess knowledge of modern equipment control interfaces.
Working Conditions

This role requires flexibility as the factory operates from 4:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. The successful candidate must be willing and able to start work at either 4:00 AM or 7:00 AM on a rotating basis.
