Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Home & Lifestyle Assistant Concession Manager to lead our Home and Living concessions within Brown Thomas Arnotts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our passion for delivering luxury customer experiences and partner-led brands across our Home & Living department.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all Home & Living concession partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Schedule regular reviews to assess performance, identify opportunities, and agree actions to drive growth and development of partner portfolios.
  • Maintain high standards in concessions operations, aligning with agreements, store policies, and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Support new brand onboarding, liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth set-up and alignment.
  • Monitor and track promotional participation of concession partners to optimize engagement and sales.
Operational Collaboration
  • Partner with internal departments (VM, Store Team, Marketing etc) to deliver exceptional concession experiences and brand presence.
  • Ensure operational excellence in all brand areas, including staffing, compliance, and health & safety.
  • Collaborate with the wider merchandising team on space planning, layout optimization, and brand adjacencies.
Customer Experience
  • Champion a best-in-class luxury service standard across all brand spaces, providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ensure concession staff receive comprehensive training on customer service expectations and product knowledge.
  • Oversee in-store brand presentation to reflect both partner identity and our brand values, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Reporting and Administration
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting, including weekly trade reports, trend prediction reports, promotion analysis, and other ad hoc requests.
  • Stay up-to-date with reporting systems and tools, utilizing them effectively to inform business decisions.
  • Create and update presentation decks as required, presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Take meticulous notes during meetings and follow up on action items, driving progress and results.
  • Manage departmental expenses and resources efficiently, optimizing performance and ROI.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Hold 4-5 years of experience in fast-paced retail environments, preferably in luxury settings.
  • Share our passion for home, interiors, and premium lifestyle brands, staying abreast of industry trends and developments.
  • Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, fostering strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Display commercial acumen, leveraging data-driven insights to drive revenue growth and business expansion.
  • Showcase leadership skills, mentoring and developing team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and agility, thriving in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
