Job Description

As an Analog Design Engineer, you will work on the development of new product solutions for portable consumer applications. Your role will involve engaging directly with our Tier 1 OEMs and having opportunities for supervisor/mentor leadership roles.

You will be responsible for contributing to the detailed definition and architecture development of high-performance mixed signal devices. This includes designing IC blocks, transistors, and circuits, as well as conducting technical presentations to ADI's internal engineering team and customers.

You will use recommended design and verification techniques, tools & flows to produce efficient designs which meet all specified functional, power and timing objectives. Additionally, you will integrate blocks into larger mixed-signal systems and support other job functions such as layout, lab evaluation and test.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to improve analog design methodologies consistent with the group's wider business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in Electronic Engineering with at least 8 years' experience as an analog/mixed signal IC designer.

You should have knowledge of analog and mixed signal electronics, tools and flows. In addition, you should have experience with circuits such as amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, switching power supply circuits, audio etc.

Strong people leadership, inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills are essential for this role.

You will also be responsible for full cell or system ownership and contributing to the development of new products from architecture selection to implementation and debug.
