New Product Introduction Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's dedicated team as a specialist who will play a crucial role in executing and delivering strategic projects that enhance manufacturing capacity and capability.
As a New Product Introduction Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and refining manufacturing processes for new medical device projects, managing multiple small to medium-scale projects from concept through design for manufacture, commissioning, and qualification.
- Develop project proposals, plans, scopes of work, cost estimates, and quotations.
- Control the transfer of new product manufacturing processes to production.
- Liaise with customer representatives and manage expectations regarding project progress, scope, and budget.
You will also be responsible for coordinating with various internal functional groups, including EHS, QA, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Facilities/Maintenance, and Validation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to track and report on project costs, schedules, targets, and achievements directly.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management or research & development.
- A Bachelor's Degree (Honors) in Engineering (Level 8).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project.
- Commissioning and Validation experience, particularly with equipment and processes.
Additionally, proficiency in a CAD package such as SolidWorks, or equivalent, would be beneficial. The ability to work independently, meet challenging schedules, and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
This role operates within a normal manufacturing environment, and the successful candidate will be expected to adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
