Senior Building Services Professional Job Summary
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Building Services Professional to lead our mechanical and electrical teams in Dublin. As a key leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of multiple projects across various sites.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing design teams to ensure project compliance with performance criteria, strategically planning M&E integration with project handover sequencing, advising site management on processes and risk mitigation, overseeing the M&E function across multiple live sites, mentoring Building Services Engineers, and ensuring consistent quality of M&E installations through all stages of design, coordination, installation, and commissioning.
You will also be responsible for monitoring subcontractor performance to meet programme, quality, and safety expectations, driving innovation and value engineering in mechanical and electrical systems, and standardizing temporary utilities (power/water) across projects for efficiency.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have a degree-qualified background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering and a minimum of 7 years experience in a similar building services or M&E project management role.
You will need strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, as well as a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
