Healthcare Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to vulnerable populations.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support services to residents, ensuring their physical comfort and quality of life. This will involve assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and at mealtime as needed.


Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high standard services as specified in agreed care plans and contribute to the continual review of resident's needs.
  • Assisting the nurse in the provision of quality nursing service.
  • Contribute to the movement and treatment of residents to maximise their physical comfort and quality of life.
  • Assist the residents with ADLs, mobility and at mealtime where necessary.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a large team.
  • A minimum of 2 QQI modules in healthcare.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland – Hold EU passport or IRP (1G, 2 or 4)
  • Good written and spoken English.
