Senior Clinical Or Counselling Psychologist – Adolescent Inpatient Services

The Adolescent Mental Health Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to join an existing specialist adolescent inpatient service providing multidisciplinary mental health assessments and interventions to young people and their families.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality care for adolescents with severe and / or complex mental health issues within the Adolescent Inpatients Unit.
This position is a key member of the multidisciplinary team responsible for planning and delivering care for adolescents with severe and / or complex mental health issues.
Key ResponsibilitiesMental Health Assessments and Interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and therapies to support adolescents in managing their mental health.
Qualifications
- Registered Psychologist (e.g. PSI registration)
- Department of Health validation if qualified outside of Ireland
Experience
- 5 years satisfactory post-graduate experience in adolescent mental health/CAMHS
Other Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
