About the RoleThe Residential Support Worker will provide care and support services to individuals with varying needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities:- Support service users with daily living activities, such as personal care, medication management, and household duties.
- Transport service users to facilitate access to community facilities and services.
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Aware of safe working conditions and implement safe work practices.
- Participate in training, supervisions, and team events to develop skills and knowledge.
- Relevant qualification within the healthcare sector - minimum QQI Level 5 major award (with 8 modules completed).
- Applicants must be 18+ years old.
- Full clean manual driving license and access to own transport.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of HIQA standards.
- Work or student experience in social care or relevant sector.
